Details that make it truly special
Our silk pillowcase is not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical. A zip that opens on both sides makes changing the pillowcase easier and more convenient, ensuring that you don’t stretch or damage the delicate fabric or the zip itself. This also helps your pillowcase last longer.
What does momme mean?
In the context of silk, momme refers to a measure of quality, ie the weight and density of the silk. The higher the momme value, the higher the quality and durability of the silk fabric, particularly for bed linen.
What is a French seam?
A French seam is a sewing technique used in textile finishing to create a clean and durable seam, particularly for lightweight and sheer fabrics. Thanks to this technique, our silk pillowcases are both aesthetically pleasing and durably stitched.
What is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification?
The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification ensures that the products are free from harmful substances and are suitable for people with sensitive skin.
Silk bed linen care instructions
Silk bed linen should be hand washed, or if using a washing machine, washed on a hand-wash cycle using a gentle detergent or one specifically designed for silk. Do not tumble dry or dry in direct sunlight. Iron at medium temperature, ideally while the fabric is still slightly damp. We also recommend using a wash bag!
